Japan: Ubie, a healthcare AI startup, has raised JPY3.5bn (US$26.2m) in the first round of Series C funding. New investors include Norinchukin Capital, NVenture Capital (a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Capital Solutions), The Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, and Egg FORWARD, while existing investors include Suzuken.
