Germany: Synlab moves a step closer to IPO

The initial public offering of German laboratory services group Synlab is moving up a gear with banks reportedly hired for the deal. Reuters reports that Synlab has hired Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan as global coordinators of the IPO. This could value Synlab as much as €6bn (US$7.1bn).
