Egypt: Egypt launches virtual clinic app

Egypt has launched an app to provide patients with a fully integrated virtual clinic experience.

DoctorOnline connects Egyptian patients with medical practitioners and doctors worldwide.  It allows them to check a patient’s medical history and records, as well as offer requisitions and prescriptions.

The app will help address Egypt’s healthcare challenges during Covid-19 and is in line with the government’s 2030 vision development strategy.

‘We believe that technology is playing a crucial role in digitally developing all sectors, including the healthcare industry,’ said Dr Mahmoud Abdel Hakim, founder of DoctorOnline.

‘It is our pleasure to launch one of the top medical applications in Egypt, which we believe will create a quantum leap in Egypt’s medical and healthcare solutions, offering potential patients a number of unique services and giving them access to doctors from all around the globe.’
