Amanat Holdings, the GCC’s largest healthcare and education investment company, has appointed Tristan de Boysson as its new chief executive officer. He joins from Investcorp Private Equity where he was managing director, co-head and a founding member of Investcorp Private Equity MENA based in Bahrain.
Boysson will set the strategy and direction for Amanat, overseeing its business commitments and investments in its sectors of focus.
In a statement, the company said that he will “lead Amanat’s expansion in the GCC and beyond as it seeks to become the investment partner of choice in healthcare and education”.
At Investcorp he launched Investcorp’s first Middle East focused fund. In this role, he led, executed, managed, and realized private equity transactions across Europe, the Middle East and Turkey, in the industrial, retail, education and healthcare sectors. He originally joined Investcorp as a member of the european private equity team at Investcorp in London.
Previously, Boysson was an associate principal at McKinsey where he advised clients on strategy, valuation, organisational and operational improvement issues. He holds a master’s in economics from École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (ESSEC – Paris) and an MBA from INSEAD.
