Martin Hrežo has been named chairman of Penta Hospitals International, the largest multi-national hospital chain in Central and Eastern Europe.
In a statement the group said that his role will be to continue to implement the group’s long-term strategy: to improve the quality of health care and to reprofile hospitals and outpatient clinics towards their higher integration and operational excellence.
Hrežo has been part of the healthcare team in Slovakia since 2012. He helped found the group and since the beginning of 2017 was group chief financial officer responsible for financial management in all three countries where the PHI operates.
Penta operates more than 65 units, including 33 hospitals and over 32 outpatient clinics in Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia.
