PZU Zdrowie, the healthcare arm of PZU Group, one of the largest financial institutions in Poland, has acquired a 100% stake in Tarnów-based private healthcare clinic Alergo-Med Specjalistyczna Przychodnia Lekarska. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Alergo-Med was founded 18 years ago in south-eastern Poland and operates two medical clinics which offer a wide range of healthcare services including aesthetic treatments.
“PZU Health’s ambition is to win the trust of as many patients as possible, as well as to expand the medical infrastructure in which they will be able to heal. To this end, we continue to expand our network, especially in such a strategic region as Małopolska. We build both outlets from scratch and acquire local leaders such as Alergo-Med in Tarnów,” said Julita Czyżewska, president of PZU Zdrowie.
PZU Zdrowie is a medical operator with its own network of over 60 branches. It claims to cooperate with over 2,100 partner institutions in 500 cities in Poland and 50 hospitals and over half of pharmacies in the country.
