Dubai has announced an easing of restrictions, with public parks and hotel beaches allowed to reopen, but with strict social distancing required in all areas.
Hotel guests have to fill out mandatory health declarations as part of new safety precautions by the Dubai government.
As part of the new guidelines that govern the operations of hotels in the emirate, hotel entrances must have contactless screening for staff and guests at all entrances.
Only customers with booking confirmations or who have pre-paid online are allowed into the lobby, and must wear masks at all time.
Dubai hotel beaches can re-open, but bars, sauna and steam facilities, pools, gyms fitness centres, nightclubs and spa facilities must remain closed.
The UAE is working on a two-stage plan for re-opening the economy but with no details or dates yet. Tourism officials are targeting a July date to allow people back into Dubai and other parts of the UAE.
