Abbeyfield enjoys a sucessful year

Charity Abbeyfield Society delivered an upbeat report of activity for the year ending 30 March 2015. Turnover grew by more than 15.7% from £44.1m to £50.9m. Most significantly it turned a deficit of £856,000 from 2014 to a surplus of £8.4m in 2015. These numbers were boosted by the £8.9m contribution from the merger of six Abbeyfield member societies and one independent society.
