Demand for private dentistry increasing despite rising prices

A private healthcare search engine has reported a surge in enquiries for private dental treatment over the past year. According to research released by WhatClinic.com, the number of enquiries for private check-ups alone has more than doubled in the last 12 months. The company said increased pressure on the NHS was boosting demand for private treatment, with enquiries for common procedures such as tooth extraction and dental crowns up 93% and 45% respectively.
