DH launches PA framework

The Department of Health (DH) has launched a scheme intended to make it easier for people with disabilities to employ personal assistants. The Framework for Personal Assistants, launched by Care Services Minister Paul Burstow last month, is part of the coalition’s personalisation agenda, outlined in its Vision for Adult Social Care (CCMn December 2010/January 2011), which aims to deliver services to meet specific individual needs.
