Majority of employees ask for dental plan

There has been a rise in employees asking for dental plans, according to Denplan, the dental payment plan specialist, in its annual Dental Benefit Survey. 63% of employees without a dental plan said they would consider one if their employer offered it and 42% of companies which are reviewing their benefits this year and don’t currently offer a dental plan are considering adding one. 49% of employers believe that a dental plan helps to manage staff absences and time taken off for sickness and 24% of employees agree that issues around accessing NHS dentists are impacting their oral health. 69% of employers believe that a dental plan enhances employee wellbeing.
