MYA Cosmetics sees a loss for 2011

MYA Cosmetic Surgery, the cosmetic surgery services provider for the year ended 31 December 2011 reported increased turnover but a loss for the year. Revenue was up to £12.9m from £10.1m in 2010. Cost of sales of £6.9m (2010: £5.9m), admin expenses of £5.7m (2010: £4.7m) and interest charges that more than doubled to £253,088 (2010: £106,635) however led to a loss before taxation of £206,000 (2010: a loss of £795,000).
