Operators to focus on improving estates in 2012

Christie & Co predicts that 2012 will be a year of building up estates organically rather than witnessing a flurry of acquisitive activity in the UK market. The property advisor reported in its Business Outlook for 2012 that the volume of deals remains stable with a similar number of developments in 2011 as in 2010. Christie & Co also predicts there will be more disposals of underperforming care homes as operators look to improve the quality of their estates.
