Skills for Care is inviting grant applications for its Workforce Development Fund to help adult social care employers develop their staff.
Large national groups or lead organisations of employer-led partnerships are being invited to apply for funding, which is backed by the Department of Health and Social Care.
Organisations must have more than 1,000 care providing employees and deliver adult social care services in two or more Skills for Care defined areas in England.
With as many as 10,000 registered managers due to retire in the next 15 years, the fund will provide money for courses aimed at developing leaders.
In 2019-20, the pot will support the learning and development of frontline workers, with money available to those completing an apprenticeship.
