OakNorth Bank has completed a loan to operator Macc Group for the development of a care home in Solihull, West Midlands.
The property will include 80 bedrooms, a lounge and dining area, cinema and hair salon.
This is the second Macc Group home to be funded by OakNorth, following completion of Willow Rose in Willenhall, Walsall. Details of the latest loan have not been disclosed.
Macc Group operates nine care homes across Birmingham and the Midlands.
‘We are grateful to the team at OakNorth Bank who have a clear understanding of this sector and were able to provide us with the financial support we need to get this development started,’ said Macc Group.
‘The Blythe valley care homes site is advantageously situated at the heart of the new development, opposite the neighbourhood centre and adjacent to a 4.5 acre landscaped community amenity green space. We plan to develop a dementia focus facility, which Solihull will be proud of.’
