Abdul Rehman has been appointed by Hartford Care as chief financial officer, bringing almost two decades of board-level finance and leadership experience across the healthcare, social care and housing sectors.
Rehman was most recently CFO at Integrated Healthcare Management Group where he led financial strategy and governance, M&A, treasury and business transformation across a portfolio of care homes and mental health hospitals. His experience spans acquisition-led growth, multi-site integration, investor and stakeholder engagement, and the development of finance functions to support growth.
‘Even as Hartford Care expands at pace, increasing our capabilities and service offering in new locations across England and Wales, we haven’t lost sight of our commitment to a “home from home” ethos and to building lasting partnerships across our communities. Abdul’s expertise and experience will support the ongoing delivery of our ambitious growth strategy and most importantly, the care we provide to our residents,’ said Kevin Shaw, chief executive officer at Hartford Care.
Rehman added: ‘I look forward to working with Kevin, the board and colleagues across the business to support the next phase of Hartford Care’s growth, and help ensure that financial excellence continues to underpin an exceptional care offering.’
Established in 2003, Hartford Care operates homes in Bristol, Berkshire, Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Greater Manchester, Kent, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, North Wales, Oxfordshire, South Yorkshire, West Midlands and Wiltshire.
