ARCO appoints head of membership and operations

Lex Cumber has joined Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) as its head of membership and operations.

Cumber, who has previously worked at Castleoak and Sherpa CRM, will be the main point of contact for partners seeking to work with the sector and will be responsible for managing suppliers looking to expand their business in housing-with-care.

He will also be responsible for managing ARCO’s relationships with its members and ensuring the trade body continues to deliver sector events.

Michael Voges, executive director of ARCO, the main body representing the older people’s housing-with-care sector, said: ‘Lex is a great addition to the team – he understands our sector, what our members want and how to deliver value for them. His background in supplying the sector means that he will be able to work well with both members and partners.’
