Ruth Yates has been recruited as managing director of operations at Aria Care Group.
The move comes as it looks to strengthen its position within the market, where it operates 50 care settings.
Yates, who has experience at Caring Homes Group, HC-One and Bupa, said: ‘I’m a firm believer in empowering and supporting our colleagues to develop and grow, therefore enabling them to provide the best possible care.’
Caroline Roberts, Aria Care Group chief executive, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Ruth to the senior leadership team. With her extensive knowledge and experience within the health and social care sector, I am confident she will positively contribute towards us achieving our goals and building on our successes, ensuring we are providing excellent care and delivering a service both residents and their families can trust.’
The group has embarked on an £18m-plus refurbishment programme to improve its homes. Twelve settings have been completed with more due in the coming months.
