Five members recruited to National Care Forum board

National Care Forum (NCF) has recruited five people to join its board at its annual general meeting (AGM).

Marianne Wanstall, The Brendoncare Foundation chief executive; Rachel Jones, Jewish Care director of care services; Rob Martin, Anchor Hanover managing director, care services; Sanjeet Bains, Bolton Cares MD; and Viv De La Fuente, Encompass Dorset CEO have been elected to the board.

They join the existing board comprising Royal Star and Garter CEO and NCF chair Andy Cole; Sanctuary Care chief operating officer and NCF treasurer Sarah Clarke-Kuehn; The Orders of St John Care Trust CEO Dan Hayes; One Housing group director of health care and support Martin D’Mello; and Brunelcare CEO Oona Goldworthy.

In addition, Surrey Choices managing director Mette Le Jakobsen and Green Square Accord executive director of care and support Maxine Espley were both re-elected for another term.

The new five members replace Sue Porto, Maria Ball, David Williams, Mark Adams, Richard Hawes.

At the AGM, NCF launched its impact report, outlining the activities and influence it has brought on behalf of its members over the last year.
