Former LaingBuisson chief executive Henry Elphick has been appointed non-executive chair of Compass Holding Group plc.
The appointment strengthens the management team at the recruitment and executive search company.
Elphick is also chair of Mansfield Advisors, a senior consultant to the global financial services group Macquarie, deputy chair of the European Health Care Private Equity Association, and an ambassador for Championing Social Care.
He was chief executive of LaingBuisson for four years until the end of the December.
‘Henry joins at a time of strong growth when our offering is set to extend further in relation to services we offer and the geographies we serve as we increasingly partner with European and US investors,’ said Compass founding director Sam Leighton-Smith. ‘I am excited to welcome Henry to the business as we continue to focus on adding value to our innovative clients in such a vital sector.’
Elphick added: ‘I believe Compass is well positioned to capitalise on its first-class brand and franchise and its investments in data and technology to cement its position as one of the leading recruitment and executive search firms to private equity and providers across healthcare and life sciences in the UK and increasingly internationally.’
Compass Holding Group has been providing services for more than a decade with market, hiring and people strategy insights across the independent health, care and children services.
