‘As we work to expand the scope of our service, we need to challenge ourselves to be the best we can be. Sanjeev’s excellent credentials and broad range of experience will help us to think big,’ said Martin Jones, Home Instead UK chief executive.

‘People’s homes will be the hospitals of the future. We already have much in place but our sector needs to be constantly looking ahead in order to meet the needs of clients in the future.’

Kaushal, who will join Home Instead’s executive leadership team, added: ‘This is a really exciting time in the sector, over 65s now outnumber 15-year-olds for the first time. We are seeing the impact of the integration of technology in how care is delivered and there is a massive opportunity to transform the range of care services delivered without compromising on quality.’
