Michael Brodtman joins Target Healthcare as non-executive director

Target Healthcare REIT has appointed Michael Brodtman as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January.

Brodtman worked for global property advisers CBRE for over 40 years, retiring as chair of the UK advisory division in June. He led the firm’s valuation department for over 20 years, and served on its executive board and operating committee, respectively responsible for strategic direction and day-to-day management.

He is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was formerly a member of the policy committee of the British Property Federation, the RICS global valuation professional board and the Bank of England commercial property forum.

Brodtman, who holds 24,210 ordinary shares in Target, will also become a non-executive director of Grainger plc in the new year and has further board experience as a former non-executive director of Investment Property Databank and housing association Places for People. He is a trustee of Jewish Care.
