At Prestige he was initially operations director overseeing the homecare, care home and learning disability businesses. He was also a director at Yourlife, a joint venture between McCarthy & Stone and Somerset care.

‘Andrew will be an outstanding addition to the senior leadership team as we execute our organic and acquisition strategies,’ said John Cahill, Trinity Homecare Group chief executive. ‘We plan to make further acquisitions in 2022 that will see us expand our care services to the South of England.’

Needham’s appointment completes the senior management team and will help Trinity to continue to build its private pay homecare having recently acquired Genuine Homecare Service in Edenbridge, Kent, and Everycare, which provides services across Eastbourne, Sussex.

These have added to its portfolio of care businesses and introductory agencies, which consist of Berkeley, Trinity homecare, Corinium Care, Country Cousins, Patricia Whites and Fitzrovia.

Needham added: ‘I am pleased to join the business at such an important stage in its expansion and to support the teams through this period of growth.

‘Care, and the many challenges the industry and individuals face, has been top of the news agenda for some time, and rightly so. With Covid having such a profound impact on the freedoms afforded to those living in care homes, we think it’s important that individuals are able to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.’

Trinity Homecare Group is backed by Limerston Capital.
