Local authorities in Wales will receive a £7m cash injection to reduce delayed discharges, Health and Social Services Minister for Wales Jane Hutt announcedlast month.The announcement follows two £5m allocations made in October and December 2001, and is intended to reduce delayed transfers of care, strengthen the care home sector and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions….
