The Keys Group has acquired the children’s services division of Aspirations Care and The Leaving Care Company for undisclosed sums.
Aspiration’s specialist children’s services division comprises ten residential homes and two schools in the south west of England and the Midlands. It provides specialist supported living and community support for children who have mental health problems and/or profound learning disabilities, autism and those who display complex and challenging behaviours. Aspirations Care was acquired by August Equity in 2012.
The Leaving Care Group supports young people transitioning from residential care into independent living in England and Wales.
Trish Lee, chief executive of Keys Group said: ‘This acquisition enhances Keys Group’s position as a leading, independent provider of residential, education and leaving care services for young people.’
