The Secretary of State for Scotland was asked (Hansard 28 July 1998 at column 291) what plans there are to increase the mental illness specific grant for 1999-2000 and subsequent years.Mr Dewar replied that the Mental Illness Specific Grant (MISG) will continue to provide ring-fenced resources totalling £18m a year towards community-based mental health projects…
