Hallmark Luxury Care Homes to launch apprenticeship programme

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes is launching an apprenticeship programme in England designed to introduce young people to careers in adult social care while helping address the sector’s workforce needs.

The provider is offering up to 32 apprenticeship placements, starting from the end of September, for young people aged 18 to 21 who are leaving college and looking to begin their careers.

Apprentices will receive an annual salary of £23,000 while working towards externally recognised qualifications, funded by Hallmark, with opportunities to progress through Levels 2, 3 and 5 as they develop their careers.

Alongside formal qualifications, apprentices will benefit from Hallmark’s in-house learning and development programmes, supported by coaches and mentors who will guide them.

‘Adult social care offers an incredibly rewarding career, but many young people don’t realise the breadth of opportunities available. Our new apprenticeship programme has been designed to give college leavers the confidence, skills and support to begin a meaningful career while earning a competitive salary, gaining recognised qualifications and developing valuable hands-on experience,’ said Claire Collen, head of people development and projects at Hallmark Luxury Care Homes.

Hallmark operates 23 homes across England and Wales.
