My Care Consultant launches hub for adult social care advice

My Care Consultant has launched a ‘one-stop-shop’ for clients of financial advice firms who need information about adult social care.

My Care Hub will offer clients of wealth managers, later-life lending advisers and pensions advisers advice from advanced care planning and decision making, to becoming a family carer and needing formal care. It aims to help carers and those in need of care to navigate the complexities of the adult social care systems.

The hub offers access to financial and practical support when caring for an older adult and help when they find themselves or a family member in need of care, through to support with bereavement.

My Care Consultant was set up in 2016 as a care navigator service. The hub will initially be available only to clients of financial advice firms across the UK.

‘My Care Hub will enable us to make the extensive knowledge we have built up over time available to a far greater number of people,’ said Jacqueline Berry, founding director of My Care Consultant.

‘It will provide valuable support for advice firms, providing an automatic care referral system which will give their clients 24/7 access to much needed online information and guidance. One-to-one support from the expert care advisers at My Care Consultant is also available, as well as qualified signposting to related professional services such as legal advice, care provision, and property management support.’
