Nexus Care Services has launched a social and educational support service for young people aged 13-18.
The division will provide services in and around Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth in the Midlands and will cover social, personal assistant support, educational and developmental help, including notetaking, recreation and companionship.
Its children’s service follows last year’s launch of Nexus Events, a social programme designed to tackle isolation. Its advocacy service and Nexus Home Retail support clients in the digital space and increase access to financial and medical help, and everyday items that improve independent living.
‘As a licenced care provider for children and young people, our dedicated team can now deliver our unique support and champion independence for clients of all ages,’ said Tinga Umera, managing director at Nexus Care Services.
‘As a private care provider, we’re able to focus on addressing the greatest needs in our community. Children’s services represent a major need for quality care that puts independence and individuality at the forefront.
‘We’re all incredibly proud to be able to support young people in their development with the same caring, proactive service that Nexus is built on.’
