A third of all Covid-related deaths in Scotland have occurred in care homes, figures have revealed. As at Sunday 19 April, 1,616 deaths had been registered in Scotland where Covid-19 was mentioned in the death certificate, according to statistics published by National Records of Scotland (NRS).
