Boutique Care Homes begins construction work on Evendon View

Boutique Care Homes has started development on a 64-bedroom property in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Evendon View, which will offer residential and dementia care as well as short stays, will include a bistro, suites with kitchenettes, a hair and beauty salon and a hobby room. Gardens will provide a nature area and wildlife orchard featuring a dozen apple trees.

Once fully operational, the home is expected to create around 100 roles across care, catering, housekeeping, lifestyle and other areas of the home.

The mayor of Wokingham, councillor Alwyn Jones, joined the Boutique Care Homes team at the site to mark the start of construction. Also in attendance was the mayoral attendant, David Dunham, Cllr Louise Timlin and local resident Barbara Stagles.

Evendon View is expected to open in early 2028. It will be the seventh home in the Boutique Care Homes portfolio.
