Kingsley Healthcare’s Eversley Nursing Home in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, is undergoing a major transformation, as part of the operator’s Vision 2025 strategy.
Residents have moved into new accommodation ahead of demolition of the home, which will be replaced by a new care setting. Construction work will start immediately.
The provider’s Vision 2025 strategy is to invest in boutique-style, luxury homes.
‘Eversley Lodge will deliver the same superb standard of care in a much-improved environment. It will set new standards in terms of comfort and luxury and provide residents with every amenity they could wish for,’ said Kingsley chief executive Daya Thayan.
The three-floor development will provide en suite wet rooms, as well as improved amenity areas, including three lounges, a hair salon, and a new kitchen. A reception area with a café and a staff meeting/training room are also included in the design.
The home is expected to open in autumn next year.
