KYN Hurlingham to open in summer

KYN Hurlingham

KYN plans to open a care home next to the Hurlingham Club in Fulham, London, after two years renovating a Grade II building.

KYN Hurlingham, which is due to open in June, will offer 32 rooms and suites, with facilities including a dining room and bar with original stonework, beams and fireplace, a library, cinema room, sitting rooms, private dining spaces, and The KYTH Spa providing massages, hair and nail treatments. Calligraphy, bridge, gardening, and wine tasting will be available, and a concierge will assist residents with chauffeured transport on hand.

Residents will be provided with personal care depending on their level of need, with nurses and carers, an in-house physiotherapist, and a weekly GP visit. It will offer regular specialist medical cover from consultant geriatrician Dr Shane Roche.

The Grade II building was built in 1855 and served as a school and youth club. Interiors have been created by British designer Nina Campbell with art selected by curator Adam Ellis. Grounds have been restored by gardener Randle Siddeley. Working alongside nutritionist Eva Humphries, chef Tristan Welch has designed the menu at the care home.
