Radis begins providing support at extra care service in Cardiff

Llys Y Goetre extra care service in St Mellons, Cardiff, has opened, with Radis Community Care providing onsite support to residents.

The property, which was backed by £12.7m through the Welsh government social housing grant, provides 60 one- and two-bedroom apartments, supporting older people to live independently. Onsite carers are available round-the-clock.

With modern and contemporary features, comfort and independence at the forefront of the service, residents are able to socialise, explore the local community and receive the quality care they require all in one place,’ said Emily Thomas, regional manager at Radis Community Care.

The service, which was built by Lovell, has a communal spaces including activity and wellbeing rooms, gardens, and electric scooter charging points.

Radis Community Care is a UK-based care provider specialising in independent living for vulnerable adults and children, employing more than 2,000 staff. Established in 2001, it operates over 90 locations.
