Untold Living opens £20m integrated retirement community

Apartments at Sundew Court

Untold Living has opened a £20m integrated retirement community in Newport, Shropshire.

Sundew Court is made up of 61 apartments for rent and 16 bungalows, with onsite facilities including Happy Quail restaurant and bar, lounge, library, salon, multi-function room, gardens, and a round-the-clock onsite care team.

The Swan and Dove House parts of the site, which have opened, make up 55% of the community. This includes 40 apartments and seven bungalows.

‘This is a moment the whole team has been working towards, right from the moment the first shovels went into the ground at Sundew Court,’ said Adrian Pickard, Sundew Court general manager. ‘Everything has gone in to making Sundew Court a place where people can make their home in later life, without any added worries or pressures.

‘Our team is here to take that pressure off residents so they can spend their time doing what they enjoy and have a new lease of life while taking advantage of all the fantastic amenities we have here,’ he said.
