Apposite Capital, the healthcare specialist investment firm, has announced the promotion of Sam Gray to Partner. Mr Gray, who joined the firm’s healthcare investment team in 2007, began his career covering healthcare in the M&A practice at Deutsche Bank investment banking. He then joined UCB Pharmaceuticals where he was involved in a number of global and regional in-licensing and M&A transactions, including the UCB’s strategic acquisition of Celltech, the UK public biotech company, in 2004.
