Aviva has broadened its virtual GP service to extend access to SME and individual customers.
The health insurer launched a GP app after striking a deal with digital healthcare company Now Healthcare Group (NHG) in May, giving its corporate customers access to over 1,000 NHS doctors.
The Aviva Digital GP service provides 24-7 access to GP appointments and pharmacy services.
Mark Noble, managing director of Health and Protection at Aviva, said: ‘We’ve had some great feedback from our corporate customers who are already using the service.’
NHG founder and chief executive Lee Dentith added: ‘We hope that our technology continues to enable better business productivity and customer convenience, ultimately saving time and money, for Aviva customers.’
