HPC appoints non-executive

Healthcare real estate developer Healthcare Property Company (HPC) has appointed Ray Stanbridge (pictured) as a non-executive director to its parent company Healthcare Property Group (HPG).

Stanbridge is a founding partner of Stanbridge Associates, an accountancy and tax advisory practice for medical consultants and independent hospitals.

The company, which has mainly been active in the NHS primary care space, said the appointment will support its new focus on developing healthcare facilities in the private sector. However, it added that it will continue to explore new opportunities in both the private and public sectors.

HPC’s managing director Paul Stacey said: ‘Ray’s appointment to the HPG board begins an exciting new period for us, as we engage more extensively with private sector operators and stakeholders. He has an impressive wealth of knowledge and experience in the private healthcare sector which will support our new strategy.’
