Assura Plc has raised £182m from the placing of 267.6m shares at 68p each.
Earlier this week, the specialist healthcare REIT announced plans to raise around £197m to fund its immediate pipeline of £193m.
Alongside the share placing, retail investors have subscribed to 4.2m shares via the PrimaryBid platform.
Together, the ‘placing shares’ and ‘retail shares’ represent around 10% of the company’s issued share capital immediately prior to placing.
Assura said it was pleased by the strong support received from new and existing investors, including retail shareholders via the PrimaryBid offer.
Barclays Bank Plc, JP Morgan and Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited are acting as Joint Bookrunners.
