Leading out-of-hospital (OOH) healthcare service provider Totally plc has announced three contract extensions worth a total of £4.2m.
The contract extensions have been awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Vocare Limited, a specialist provider of urgent care services.
The three contracts include the East Staffordshire OOH contract which has been extended from 16 June 2019 to 30 September 2020, valued at £1.4m; the Staffordshire NHS 111 contract which has been extended from 31 March 2020 to 30 September 2020, valued at £1.8m and the North Staffordshire & Stoke OOH & UTC contract which has been extended from 31 July 2020 to 30 September 2020, worth £1m.
‘We are delighted that Vocare has been awarded this series of contract extensions across Staffordshire,’ said Wendy Lawrence, CEO of Totally. ‘The team at Vocare has been working tirelessly to continue its provision of high-quality healthcare, reflected by the fact that each service has been rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.’
‘We are proud to remain the sole incumbent provider of urgent care services across the region and look forward to identifying further ways in which we can work together in order to provide patients with additional benefits, whilst meeting the integrated urgent care requirements of the NHS,’ Lawrence continued.
