Bupa has made three senior appointments to its UK executive team, including new leaders for Bupa Global and Bupa Dental Care.
Siobhan Moynihan has been appointed general manager of Bupa Global, Jesús Bonilla will become general manager of Bupa Dental Care and Clare Binmore has been named chief financial officer for Bupa Global, India & UK (BGIUK).
All three will take up their roles in October, subject to regulatory approval, and will report to BGIUK CEO Chris Carroll.
Moynihan succeeds Anthony Cabrelli, who is retiring after a 40-year career in the international private medical insurance (IPMI) sector.
She moves into the role from her current position as CFO for BGIUK, which she has held since rejoining Bupa in February 2022.
Moynihan previously worked as finance director at Resolution Life and has held finance director roles within Bupa’s UK Insurance and Bupa Global businesses. Prior to that, she held senior finance positions at Coventry Building Society, London Capital Group Holdings and Deloitte.
Cabrelli rejoined Bupa in 2021 as managing director of Bupa Global, having previously spent 21 years with the healthcare group in international leadership positions spanning general management, commercial operations, business transformation and new business development.
He also spent five years at UnitedHealth Group, where he was CEO of Global Solutions and worked on new market development and global benefits.
Cabrelli will continue to work with Bupa in board and advisory roles following his retirement.

Bonilla, meanwhile, will succeed Mark Allan as general manager of Bupa Dental Care.
He joins the UK dental business following a 17-year career with Bupa’s Sanitas operation in Spain and has been managing director of Sanitas Dental since 2020.
Bonilla was previously general manager of Sanitas Hospitals and Medical Centres and has held a number of other roles within the Spanish healthcare business.
Allan is leaving Bupa to pursue other opportunities after leading Bupa Dental Care’s strategy and transformation since 2022.
Binmore will replace Moynihan as CFO for BGIUK and join its executive team.

She joined Bupa in 2022 as group performance and finance transformation director, having previously served as group strategy director at Aviva.
She has also held senior finance roles at Friends Life UK, Swiss Re and PwC.
Carroll said: ‘These appointments build on our strategy to transform healthcare, develop partnerships, and drive expansion and growth in our key markets.
‘As we move to the next phase of patient-centred connected care pathways, I am pleased to bring this depth of experience to our executive team.’
Bupa Group CEO Iñaki Ereño said the appointments demonstrated the strength of the group’s internal leadership pipeline.
‘These appointments are recognition of the unrivalled strength and pipeline of leading talent we have across Bupa to be at the forefront of market-leading innovation around the world and meet our customers’ evolving health needs,’ he added.
