CRGH expands clinical team with two appointments

The Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH) has appointed Yeliz Atik and Onur Basegmez to its clinical team.

Atik (pictured) joins as consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist. She brings more than 20 years of experience in women’s health and trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Turkey before moving to the UK, where she worked in reproductive medicine including at University College London Hospital.

Her areas of expertise include advanced gynaecological imaging, reproductive endocrinology, medical egg freezing, male subfertility and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Onur Basegmez

Basegmez joins CRGH from a background in reproductive medicine and IVF. A graduate of Marmara University in Istanbul, he trained in IVF at Acıbadem University and has spent more than five years practising in the UK.

He also holds a master’s degree in stem cell engineering from Istinye University and has a particular interest in managing complex fertility treatment pathways.

CRGH consultant and senior medical director Wael Saab said the appointments strengthen the clinic’s expertise in reproductive endocrinology and diagnostic care.

Both clinicians are based at CRGH’s Great Portland Street clinic in London.
