Digital healthcare company Doctor Care Anywhere has appointed Michael Lord as its head of sales and account management.
In his role, Lord will be responsible for managing client accounts, including AXA Health, HCA UK and Nuffield Health.
Lord joins from King Edward VII’s Hospital where he worked for almost two years as commercial and business development director.
He also spent more than two years at Aviva Health and over six years at Nuffield Health, starting as head of insurer relations until being promoted to business accounts director and finally commercial contracts director and interim sales director (hospitals) in 2015.
Ben Kent, chief operating officer at Doctor Care Anywhere, said: ‘This year, more than any other, has demonstrated the valuable role of digital services in our healthcare ecosystem. Michael brings with him a wealth of experience in the health sector to help us continue to expand and enhance our services.’
Kent was appointed chief operating officer of the digital primary care provider in June.
