Keith Gibbs joins HCA Healthcare UK Advisory Board

Former AXA PPP healthcare CEO Keith Gibbs has been appointed to HCA Healthcare UK’s advisory board.

The HCA UK Advisory Board was set up to support the hospital group’s quality and collaboration agenda and provides strategic insights to its leadership team. Chaired by Ed Smith, its members include  Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, Professor Sir Robert Lechler, Professor Dame Shirley Pearce and Beverley Aspinall.

Gibbs, who last week was announced non-executive director of health screening company Bluecrest Health Screening, will add to the team with his knowledge of the private health insurance market and how best to serve individual and corporate customers.

HCA Healthcare UK CEO John Reay said: ‘I am pleased to welcome Keith to the HCA UK Advisory Board. Insured patients, both individual and corporate, have always been HCA UK’s largest patient group, and Keith’s unique insights will be a real asset.

‘He joins an outstanding group of board members who, with their range of expertise , are challenging us to think about the new and different ways we can continue to provide the highest quality care and experience to our patients.’

Gibbs retired as  CEO of AXA PPP healthcare in December 2018. As well as Bluecrest Health Screening, he holds non-executive director roles at AXA Global Healthcare, AXA Venture Partners SA and Saga Services Ltd.
