Henry Elphick has joined Oliver Wyman as a partner in its healthcare & life sciences and private capital practices.
Oliver Wyman, which is a Marsh business, works across risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting. It has more than 7,000 employees across 70 offices worldwide.
Elphick will support the firm to build out its healthcare private capital offering, supporting clients across the investment lifecycle while contributing to the growth of its healthcare & life sciences franchise. He joins from Mansfield Advisors, where he served as executive chair, helping grow the healthcare strategy consultancy firm.
Elphick is the founder and deputy chair of the European Healthcare Investor Association and has worked in healthcare throughout his career as a lawyer at Linklaters, investment banker at Rothschild, UBS, and Jefferies, and as a strategy consultant. He was also chief executive officer of LaingBuisson. He is a non-executive chair of Compass Recruitment Solutions, a private equity-backed healthcare and life sciences search and recruitment firm.
