Reset Health has appointed Dr Joanne Hackett to its board of directors.
Hackett is vice president and global head of health system services at IQVIA and previously served as chief commercial officer at Genomics England, where she developed commercial and industry partnerships around its genomic medicine programme.
A clinical academic, entrepreneur and investor, she has experience spanning health systems, life sciences, health data and precision medicine.
Reset provides personalised management of chronic conditions using continuous clinical care, real-world data, behavioural insights and AI to adapt treatment according to individual patient response. Its model is currently used in pharmaceutical patient support programmes, NHS clinical care and private treatment delivered through pharmacy partners.
The company said Hackett’s experience in translating scientific innovation and complex healthcare data into scalable services would support the further development of its treatment model.
Dr David Wong, executive chairman of Reset Health, said: ‘Joanne brings a rare combination of experience across health systems, life sciences, data and precision medicine.
‘She immediately enhances our capabilities to optimise treatments for both patients and partners and she will be invaluable as we deliver this across a range of clinical conditions.’
Hackett said: ‘I have long been an advocate for personalised precision medicine, and I believe we now have a real opportunity to use data and technology to make that a reality at scale.
‘Reset is bridging an important gap between medical breakthroughs and how therapies are delivered in the real world, combining continuous care with data-driven insight to ensure treatment is optimised for each individual patient.’
