Towergate strengthens global team with new principal consultant

Roberto Russo has joined Towergate Employee Benefits as principal consultant in its Global Benefits Management team.

Reporting to head of international Sarah Dennis, Russo (pictured) will manage and develop a portfolio of multinational clients, supporting the expansion of the broker’s global benefits offering. He will also contribute to the growth of the wider team, which now stands at ten people.

Russo previously held roles at Generali Employee Benefits and MAXIS Global Benefits Network, where he spent nine years advising global employers on international benefit structures. His experience includes implementing pooling, global underwriting programmes and captive solutions.

Dennis said: ‘We are very pleased to welcome Roberto to the specialist international team. We are now 10-strong and have plans for further growth. We are also increasing our focus on financing, global minimum standards of benefits, DEI, and health and wellbeing. These areas are critical to deepening relationships with existing multinational clients and positioning Towergate Employee Benefits as a trusted partner in a competitive market.’

Russo said his focus would be on ‘meeting the evolving needs of clients and actively shaping best-in-class scalable solutions across global regions’.
