Unilabs appoints new director of communications

Pathology and cancer diagnostics specialist Unilabs has appointed Alistair Hammond as its new director of communications.

In his new role, Hammond will be based in London and Geneva and will be responsible for all internal and external communications, including public affairs, executive communications, and public relations. 

Hammond joins Unilabs from CWT, the global travel management company, where he was global director of Media Relations and PR. 

Hammond also has more than 20 years of experience in media and communications, having worked as a foreign correspondent for Bloomberg in Indonesia, running European coverage for Dealreporter and Debtwire, and spending more than four years as news editor of Mergermarket, a global financial newswire formerly owned by the FT Group.
