Former Nuffield Health director Kevin Thomson has rejoined the charity as new business and market development director.
Thomson originally joined the charity as head of integrated operations in 2009, taking responsibility for the alignment clinical services within corporate fitness and wellbeing centres. After this, he held a variety of roles, including regional director and business development director. He was also the organisation’s first head of employee wellbeing.
In 2016, he left Nuffield to take up the role of head of HealthFirst at BMI Healthcare, where he focused on growing the delivery of corporate healthcare services in conjunction with relevant clinical leads.
In his new role back at Nuffield, Thomson will lead on developing new business in the corporate and insured private healthcare markets. Part of his remit will be growing the charity’s existing portfolio to enhance and extend connected healthcare across its key service lines, including health assessments, emotional health, physiotherapy and consumer fitness and wellbeing services.
Commenting on his appointment, Thomson said: ‘I am really pleased to be back at Nuffield Health and I’m looking forward to growing our connected health proposition to a much wider audience. Nuffield Health is best placed to provide extended employee, patient and member pathways, with the ability to provide a truly connected healthcare proposition.’
