Circle Health Group has introduced a new digital governance and patient safety platform across its 54 hospitals through a partnership with Radar Healthcare.
The UK’s largest private hospital operator said the move replaces manual processes with an integrated system that improves reporting, data analysis and clinical engagement.
Simon Geoghegan, head of clinical data reporting and governance systems at Circle, said: ‘Previously, we couldn’t triangulate data meaningfully. Now we can overlap incidents with audits and other governance data to get a fuller picture of patient safety across the group.’
The platform combines incident reporting, Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) workflows, audits, action plans and real-time analytics. Circle reported that incident reporting through PSIRF has risen by 98%, while PSII investigations have fallen by 87%. The system has also replaced more than a dozen manual processes and automated meeting preparation.

Circle said feedback from clinicians has supported stronger frontline participation, with the system used both to identify risks and highlight good practice.
